Originally designed and built by International Amusement Devices, the roller coaster opened as Colossus, a dual-tracked roller coaster, on June 29, 1978.

millions of people have experienced this ride and now you can to, through virtual reality. This virtual colossus ride is based around a renewable energy theme park, whereby the entire park’s energy comes from wind turbines and hydroelectric power. The coaster is an amazing copy of colossus, from its detailed construction to the way the cars shake and rattle as they speed along the track.
